Founder’s Note
Some of my most cherished memories are gathered around a table, sharing food, stories, and laughter. In my family, meals have always been more than just nourishment—they are moments of connection, a way of showing love, and a celebration of life’s simple pleasures.
I grew up surrounded by the scents and flavors of my grandmother’s kitchen. From early morning, she would be busy preparing meals with patience and devotion, while my grandfather lovingly tended to his land, his vegetable garden, and his beloved olive trees. I still remember the simple yet extraordinary pleasure of warm, freshly baked bread, prepared by my grandmother, drizzled with golden Extra Virgin Olive Oil, sprinkled with oregano, and infused with an unforgettable aroma, taste, and pure joy.
Oleaviva was born from these memories, from a deep-rooted appreciation for food, tradition, and the Sicilian way of life.
My passion for extra virgin olive oil is not just about crafting the finest product—it is a tribute to my land, to my grandparents, and to a way of living where time slows down, and every flavor tells a story.
This connection to the past became even more meaningful as I watched my children experience the same emotions that shaped my childhood. Seeing them run through the fields and embrace the beauty of slow living made me realize how precious these traditions are. In those moments, I knew I wanted to preserve and share this legacy, ensuring that a meal prepared with care, the taste of pure, golden oil, the pleasure of gathering around a table—would continue to be cherished for generations to come.
